According to the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Bylaws, this year’s election by the membership is to fill vacant Administrative Committee positions. There is one vacancy for the term ending 31 December 2009 and five new members will be elected for a three-year term 1 January 2010 - 31 December 2012. The names were submitted by the Nominations Committee and/or by petition. One of the candidates is prof. Leszek Rutkowski.
This year’s election once again offers the opportunity to cast your ballot electronically. You will need your IEEE Web Account username/password to access the ballot and cast your vote. This is the same account information used to access IEEE online services such as renewing your membership, myIEEE, and Xplore. It is recommended that you test your web account access at www.ieee.org/myieee

Ballot cards or electronic ballots must be received at IEEE no later than 21 October 2009. Any returns received after this date will not be counted. The online voting site will close at 4:00 pm Eastern Time.
